You May Be Looking for Therapy Because…
You’re tired of perfectionism, overthinking, and constantly second-guessing yourself.
You take care of everyone else first and feel guilty when you need rest or support.
You struggle to say no, set boundaries, or speak up for what you need.
You often feel insecure or anxious in relationships, even when things seem “okay.”
You find yourself drawn to relationships that don’t feel good — or uneasy when something feels healthy.
You’re healing from a breakup or from relationship patterns that keep repeating.
You grew up with high expectations and little emotional support, you often feel unworthy of love or “not enough,” no matter how hard you try.
If any of this feels familiar, it doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. It means you’ve been carrying more than anyone ever saw.
Healing is possible, not by working harder, but by helping your body and mind experience the inner safety to rest, slow down, and be cared for.
What if you could go from:
☁️ Perfectionism and constant self-doubt
→ accept yourself as you are, and grow from a place of wholeness — not fear.
☁️ Always taking care of everyone else
→ Feeling safe enough to relax, trust yourself, and let others take care of themselves
☁️ Struggling to say no or set boundaries
→ speak up confidently, protect your energy, and feel safe choosing what’s best for you
☁️ feeling anxious or insecure in relationships
→ feel secure, grounded, and able to connect without fear of being “too much” or “not enough
☁️ being pulled toward unhealthy relationships, or repeating painful relationship patterns
→ choose relationships that feel steady, mutual, authentic — and actually feel comfortable receiving healthy love
☁️ feeling unworthy or “not enough”
→ feel worthy, lovable, and confident — without having to earn love or prove your value.

🌻A Different Way of Healing Anxiety, Depression & Trauma: Integrative, Body-Based, Somatic Therapy in State College, PA
You’ve done therapy before — you understand your patterns, but you still don’t feel different.
You’re tired of talking about your trauma over and over, only to end up in the same cycles of anxiety, tension, or disconnection.
I get it — your mind might understand what happened, but your body still feels like it’s living it.
For many who grew up with chaos or emotional turmoil, talking alone can’t reach the deeper places where the pain still lives.
Your mind may understand that you’re safe now, but your body hasn’t caught up.
That’s why even after years of insight, you might still:
Shut down or freeze when someone raises their voice
Feel anxious when you set boundaries
Struggle to rest or focus because your nervous system is always “on”
Keep attracting similar relationship dynamics that echo your past
The problem isn’t that you haven’t tried hard enough—it’s that your body and mind are speaking two different languages.
Instead of trying to “fix” yourself through more talking or analyzing, we slow down and listen to what your body has been holding. Together, we’ll start to notice how stress and old pain show up — the tightness in your chest, the lump in your throat, the moments you go numb or shut down.
We’ll get curious instead of critical, helping those parts of you feel safe enough to soften. Over time, your nervous system begins to learn that it’s okay to rest, to trust, and to let new experiences in.
This work isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about finally feeling safe enough to heal.
Together, we go beyond talking about your story — you can finally begin to feel different from the inside out.
Meet Quỳnh Nguyễn, virtual therapist across Pennsylvania!
You may look calm and capable on the outside — but inside, you’re tired of carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, or the lingering effects of childhood trauma. You might feel stuck in patterns of self-criticism, people-pleasing, or emotional numbness, unsure how to truly feel at peace.
As an IFS, somatic therapist specializing in childhood and relational trauma, anxiety, and depression, I help adults heal from the past so they can feel safe in the present. Together, we’ll untangle old survival patterns, quiet the inner critic, and rebuild trust in yourself and your emotions.
Healing isn’t about being perfect — it’s about feeling free to be fully human. I’m here to walk with you as you move from surviving to truly living.

🌱 What to Expect
Your first steps toward healing — gently, steadily, and at your own pace.
2️⃣ Building Safety & Foundation
In our first few sessions, we focus on safety — both emotional and physical.
You don’t need to tell your whole story at once. We’ll move slowly, helping your nervous system begin to settle and building trust in the process.
You’ll start learning simple tools to ground yourself and reconnect with your body’s signals — so therapy feels safe, not overwhelming.
1️⃣ Free Connection Call
Start with a 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
You can share what’s been coming up, ask questions, and get a sense of what working together might feel like — no pressure, just conversation.
3️⃣ Deeper Healing Through IFS & Somatic Work
Once your system feels steadier, we’ll gently explore the parts of you that carry worry, guilt, or self-criticism.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS therapy), somatic therapy, and other trauma-informed methods, we’ll help those parts release old burdens and discover what they truly need.
When appropriate, we may integrate EMDR to reprocess painful memories stored in the body.
4️⃣ Integration: Bringing Healing Into Daily Life
Healing is about more than what happens in session — it’s about how you begin to live and relate differently.
We’ll practice new ways of setting boundaries, calming your body, and trusting your own inner wisdom.
You’ll notice small but meaningful shifts: more calm, more peace, less reactive, clearer directions in life, deeper connection.
5️⃣ Continuing or Transitioning Forward
Some clients continue meeting regularly; others space sessions further apart as they integrate what they’ve learned.
When it feels right, we’ll discuss transitioning out of therapy with clarity and intention — so you leave feeling supported and empowered.

In our first session, we will review intake paperwork together. We will talk about how you are feeling about starting the process, and we will collaborate on what feels important to you. The first few sessions may feel like a bit of story telling to catch me up on your history. I also work intentionally to check in and make sure that our work is still feeling like a good fit for you.
